I think wordle is pretty neat and I can see how it could be very useful in a playful way. I didn't have any trouble creating it but posting it on my blog I needed some help from Tasha. I will definitely use wordle at work and play

Week 12, Thing 19 and 20 - Online Mapping and GIS
Online mapping was fun and I plan to do more with it for various things. For this week though I used Community walk to map out a few of my favorite restaurants. Its an easy online mapping system. I like that it can be personlaized with icons and a little description of the place. I also looked at google maps and think this will very useful.
GIS is very interesting. I would like to know more about it but for now it is just nice to be familiar with what these things are.

Week 11 Things 17 and 18 - Social Bookmarking and Widgets
Well I really like Diigo. I will be using it at home and work. It is very cool to be able to manage and use bookmarks that can be accessed from any computer. With the highlight and ability to make notes features I can see it being an excellent research tool. Diigo is something I will definitely be using.
Widgets are great too. They can be fun and useful. I am using and will continue to use widgets.

Week 10, Things 15 & 16 - Social Networking and Twitter
I set up a twitter account and I was undecided for quite a few days about it. But I like it. I had quite a bit of trouble setting everything up and learning how to allow someone to follow my tweets. I don't know yet how I would use twitter at work. I like the tweets? I'm following. Good Morning America, Racheal Ray and CNN to name a few. I have a facebook account and enjoy it when I have some time to waste. Keeping up somewhat with people I just don't see or talk to on a regular basis. I am thoroughly enjoying these things I'm learning about. A great opportunity to becoume familiar with these things I've just heard about!

Week 9, Thing 14 - Photosharing
I like flickr. I use picassa for my photos and I like it. It keeps my photos organized and also I like to share my photos with people and it is an easy way to present a slideshow of my photos. I'm pretty sure I will use flickr both at home and work.
